Join us on October 19th at CG Life (657 W Lake St, Chicago, IL 60661) to network with leaders in our community, and help us prep our Fall STEM Kit boxes for Chicago area schools.
iBIO developed the STEM Kit program to support high-need, low-income students and to fill the educational gap created by distance learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. A recent Chicago Tribune front-page story highlighted the pandemic’s impact on worsening equity disparities in education, particularly in STEM.
Since January we have distributed more than 6,000 STEM Kits to CPS and schools in the Metro-Chicago region.
Join us on October 19th at 4:30pm for some networking, drinks, food and help us prep our supplies for our fall STEM Kits. Volunteers will be required to perform simple crafting activities. We are asking all volunteers to be vaccinated and follow all current COVID guidelines for Chicago.
