The federal government will be phasing out the use of DUNS numbers for entities by April 4, 2022. This will be replaced by a 12-character unique entity identifier (UEI) through SAM.gov. If your entity is already registered with SAM.gov, then a UEI will be assigned to you automatically. You can log in at SAM.gov to find your UEI. If not, then you can register your entity and/or receive a UEI at SAM.gov. You can check your registration status here. Note that SAM.gov will be down from April 1 – 4, so if you are a new applicant planning to apply for the HHS Omnibus solicitation deadline of April 5, you must register by Tuesday March 29.
