Oak Park and River Forest High School junior Maya Souden will have to pack her bags again.
After being one of five students in the school’s Investigative Research Design and Innovation class to win a trip to New Mexico in April for the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium, Souden learned that she won the Illinois state competition and will be the Illinois representative at the BioGENEius Challenge.
