Event Details

In part two of our webinar series on the guiding principles for rare disease care and patient access, we will explore how rare diseases have many evidentiary and practical considerations that make them different than broader diseases. Rare disease treatments enter a health technology assessment (HTA) landscape that does not always take into account the variability among rare diseases or practical challenges in assembling a value package to support treatment that differs from what is seen in broader disease areas.

Discussion Points
This webinar will explore the unique gaps associated with rare disease HTA and debate what is needed to close these gaps in a way that is both patient-centric and practical for US managed care.

This webinar is co-sponsored by Global Genes and the Child Neurology Foundation in partnership with the National Association of Managed Care Physicians
