Plainfield Elementary School Principal, Dr. Lisa Carlos, helped distribute the new hands-on iBIO STEM Kits this morning. This month students learn about circuits and design and build their own working flashlights. We think these students look ready to “Switch On and Shine the Light!” Through the generous support of Abbott, 2000 STEM kits will be delivered to students in Des Plaines, IL Schools this spring. #STEM
iBIO STEM Kit is a new program designed to fill an important educational gap created by distance learning in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Kits are available for individual purchase and sponsorship opportunities exist to provide STEM Kits to communities in need.
